Soft Apple Cake With Cardamom

INGREDIENTS:
- 1 Caremoli Muffin Mix (the entire pack)
- 4 medium eggs
- ½ cup melted butter
- 5 tsp cardamom seeds
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 13,5 Oz apples
- 3 tbsp + 1 tsp milk
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 ½ tbsp vanilla-flavored powdered sugar
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Preheat the oven to 355°F (180°C)
- Melt butter in a pan at a low temperature
- Add cardamom seeds to the melted butter and let them soak for approximately 30 minutes, then filter butter and keep it aside
- In a bowl, whisk eggs and then add milk, vanilla extract and butter
- Add Muffin Mix little by little and keep whisking until you obtain a soft and creamy batter
- Peel the apples and cut them in slices, pour lemon juice all over them and leave them aside
- Grease a 10” baking pan and pour batter in it
- Place apples slices
- Put the cake in the oven and bake for 45 minutes
- Once ready, let it cool for an hour and sprinkle powdered sugar on top
NOTE: This soft apple cake is even more delicious if served with vanilla ice cream.
