Soft Apple Cake With Cardamom


  • 1 Caremoli Muffin Mix (the entire pack)
  • 4 medium eggs
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 5 tsp cardamom seeds
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 13,5 Oz apples
  • 3 tbsp + 1 tsp milk
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 ½ tbsp vanilla-flavored powdered sugar


  • Preheat the oven to 355°F (180°C)
  • Melt butter in a pan at a low temperature
  • Add cardamom seeds to the melted butter and let them soak for approximately 30 minutes, then filter butter and keep it aside
  • In a bowl, whisk eggs and then add milk, vanilla extract and butter
  • Add Muffin Mix little by little and keep whisking until you obtain a soft and creamy batter
  • Peel the apples and cut them in slices, pour lemon juice all over them and leave them aside
  • Grease a 10” baking pan and pour batter in it
  • Place apples slices
  • Put the cake in the oven and bake for 45 minutes
  • Once ready, let it cool for an hour and sprinkle powdered sugar on top

NOTE: This soft apple cake is even more delicious if served with vanilla ice cream.
